Q. What happens at meetings?
A. Our PTO meetings are open to anyone who has a child at Northwest. We strive to include all parents/guardians who wish to be involved. During our meetings, every voice is heard, and every opinion is taken into account. We discuss many topics at our meetings, including special events and fundraising. We take feedback about events into consideration and try our best to come up with ideas that will benefit our students, parents, faculty and staff, as well as meet district guidelines. You can read our bylaws here: nw_pto_bylaws.pdf Q. If I cannot attend a meeting, can I still be involved? A. Most definitely!! There are many ways you can help. Contact us through the website, social media, or your child's teacher. We appreciate all the help we can get! Q. Can I bring my children to a PTO meeting? A. Of course! We create an area for the kids to hang out with each other while we meet. We do recommend they bring a book, coloring supplies, etc. to help keep them busy. |
